KHS Choir Students Earn All-State Honors

Congratulations to eight outstanding Kearney High School choir students who earned recognition through the Missouri All-State Choir audition process!

The Missouri All-State Choir brings together some of the state's most accomplished high school vocalists for a performance in January. Three KHS students earned places in the Missouri All-State Choir, while five others received alternate or honorable mention recognition.

All-State Choir:

• Sofia Kouzinoglou
• Jackson Morris
• Joshua Robinson

First Alternate:

• Audree Curran

Honorable Mention:

• Adi Ford
• Taylor Kolek
• Nate West
• Maverick Kerns

These honors follow an impressive showing by the KHS Choir program at the Northwest District All-District Choir performance at Platte County High School. A total of 31 KHS students participated in the district choir after successfully auditioning in September. Of those students, 17 also competed for All-State recognition.

Congratulations to these talented Bulldogs and to KHS Choir Director Dustin McKinney for their outstanding achievements! We're proud of the hard work, dedication and musical excellence they represent!
