At Kearney School District, the Office of Curriculum & Instruction ensures that every classroom delivers a rigorous, coherent PreK–12 learning experience grounded in best practices and aligned to state standards. We partner with teachers and school leaders to design and refine curriculum maps, integrate research-based instructional strategies, and leverage data to target interventions that help all students reach—and exceed—their potential.

Key Roles & Services

  • Curriculum Development: Scope & sequence frameworks, unit plans, and K–12 learning progressions

  • Instructional Coaching: Classroom modeling, peer collaboration, and feedback cycles for continuous growth

  • Assessment & Data Teams: Benchmark testing, data analysis, and RTI/MTSS coordination to support targeted instruction

  • Literacy & Math Intervention: Evidence-based programs, resources, and progress monitoring tools

  • Digital Learning Integration: Tools, training, and guidance for effective use of instructional technology

  • Professional Learning: District-wide workshops, on-site coaching, and online modules to build educator capacity
