Help Us Prepare for the Back-to-School Resource Fair

The Kearney School District 2026 Back-to-School Resource Fair is less than one month away, and community volunteers can play an important role in helping local students and families start the new school year prepared and supported.

Volunteers will help create a safe and welcoming setup, sort school supplies, assemble supply bags, organize clothing and move room furniture as needed.

This is a meaningful opportunity for families, friends, community groups and secondary students who need volunteer service hours. Volunteers are especially needed during the following times:

• Monday, Aug. 10, from noon to 3 p.m.
• Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 1 to 3 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 14, from noon to 3 p.m.

Volunteers are welcome to help for all or part of a shift. Every contribution of time will make a difference. Sign up today!
