Summer School Creativity in Motion!

A teacher guides two young boys in an art activity with paint and a soccer field template.
Our Southview and Hawthorne summer school students rolled into some colorful, hands-on learning this week with a little “Marble Soccer Ball Painting!”

Students used boxes, paint and marbles to create bright, energetic works of art by tilting and moving their “fields” to send the marbles racing across the page. It was part art, part science and a whole lot of summer school fun.

Thank you to Elizabeth Dodson and Specials Teacher Shell Dunn for giving our Bulldogs another creative way to learn, explore and make something uniquely their own!
