Student-Only Conversation About Race & Equity
NewsComments Off on Student-Only Conversation About Race & Equity
KSD would like to invite all secondary students to a “student-only” conversation about race and equity. In light of current events, we know many of our students are confused and concerned. Some students want to be part of the solution in Kearney, but they don’t know how. This would be an opportunity for them to voice their concerns and have their voices heard. The conversation will be facilitated by Jamie Grayson who is the founder of POAC (People of All Color Succeed). We are looking for students who are interested in an open dialogue. This conversation will be held in the commons area of Kearney High School on Wednesday, June 24th at 10:00 AM.
For more information please contact your school principal. Please complete the attached Google form so we have a count of how many students will be attending.
