Bulldogs Demonstrate Good Taste During Menu Testing

One of our top priorities in Kearney School District is to empower student voice. In that spirit, KSD's foodservice provider, SFE, took time on Wednesday morning, Feb. 25, to give a group of Kearney High School students the opportunity taste test several potential menu items that are being developed. After a short introduction by an SFE representative, the students dispersed around the KHS commons to try a wide variety of foods. The options included pepperoni pizza and nachos "power boxes," Italian sub sandwiches, tuna sliders, French toast casserole, yogurt parfait, a fresh fruit bar, Mexican pizza and butter garlic rice. The testers discussed the items at their tables, took notes and will provide their feedback via a digital form. According to Director of Food Service Angie Lyman, SFE will use the student input to determine what to add to the regular menu and how to make improvements. This is another great example of how we are working to ensure that we're meeting the needs of our students and staff in KSD!
