On Saturday, Sept. 13, a contingent of Kearney High School students traveled to Missouri Western State University to represent KHS at the NWMCDA District Choir Auditions. To compete, students need to sing a solo, identify key signatures, and sight sing for adjudicated scores. Top scores are selected into the All-District Choir and will perform with all of the students from the Northwest region of Missouri on Oct. 25. Juniors and seniors who make the ensemble also move on to the next round to audition for All-State Choir. The Bulldog singers all performed exceptionally well, and all 32 of our students received All-District Honors!
