KHS Senior Macy Higgins has been hired by the Kansas City Royals for a position on their Game Crew staff.  Higgins is the only high school student on the staff this year. Higgins says she believes the experience she has received in classes such as broadcasting and sports entertainment arts have helped lead her to this opportunity.

Game Crew is responsible for executing pre-game ceremonies such as the first pitch and National Anthem as well as setting up, managing and executing in-game contests and features shown on CrownVision.  She’ll get to experience what a real live game-day production looks like on a Major League Baseball field throughout the season, and she will be working at Royals FanFest this weekend. Congratulations to Macy on this opportunity!
