Engage with KSD

Get Involved & Stay Up to Date with Kearney School District

FACES-Stakeholders-2

In KSD, we understand that success depends on having stakeholders who are informed and who support our work as the public education provider for our community. Students, parents/guardians, staff, family members, community leaders and neighbors must know what we are doing in KSD and why. We must also take the time to listen and learn from them so that our work meets their needs. This is particularly true given that we depend on local property taxes for about two-thirds of our annual budget. Our responsibility is to ensure that we're responsible with taxpayer resources.

We need and appreciate your input and engagement!

We offer a number of ways to stay up-to-date with KSD news and to help us achieve our goals as a school district. Thank you for taking the time to learn about these options and for making the effort to be an active and informed stakeholder!

Support Our Foundation

The KSD Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable entity, functioning as a vital link between the school district and the local community. Comprised of a dedicated group of volunteer board members, the Foundation's primary goal is securing funding for projects beyond the state-mandated requirements. Through a shared commitment among educators, parents, and the local community, we support enriching educational experiences that inspire and motivate students.
