Chromebooks

Beginning Fall 2020, KSD is a 1:1 Chromebook district in grades 2-12.  As a G Suite (formerly Google Apps for Education) district, all students have access to Google Drive and other online apps that allow them to do school work and collaborate with others.  All students login with their email address and password. However, only students in grades 6-12 have access to Gmail.  With this one login, students can store all of their data, create presentations, write papers and research online.  A Chromebook is not like a regular computer.  It is a device that connects to the Internet, particularly the Google Chrome browser.  All work is done online and saved in the cloud, not the Chromebook itself.
