Procedures for Flyer Distribution to Families and Staff Members

Our district cooperates with community groups and organizations that sponsor activities of an educational/enrichment nature for students by distributing materials electronically via Peachjar to district families. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, embrace innovative technology, and maintain fiscal responsibility, we have transitioned from paper to electronic flyer delivery.

To request flyer approval, follow the steps below. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to parents and posted online. Paper flyers from outside organizations will no longer be distributed.

  1. IMPORTANT:  Read the KSD Flyer Approval Policies in the next section below.
  2. Visit
  3. Register as a Program Provider (account type)
  4. Upload your flyer for approval (file size must be smaller than 6 MB)

Your flyer will automatically be submitted to the district office. District staff will review the material and approve or deny based on the standards described below. Peachjar charges outside organizations a fee for this service that is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school. If your flyer is promoting an event that does not require a fee, your organization may qualify for free posting.

NOTE:  If you are a parent group at one of our KSD schools, these instructions do not apply. Please speak with your school office Peachjar administrator about your flyer.

The district may allow the distribution of a flyer that is a fundraiser/benefit for a KSD student or staff member with a serious health condition as defined by the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Anyone submitting a flyer for this purpose must first complete the form provided here and obtain a signature from the KSD staff member or parent/guardian of the KSD student. Click Here for the Approval Form.

If you would like to send information to KSD teachers only, you can select "for District Staff" during your flyer uploading process. Material sent to teachers should include information about possible student workshop or field trip opportunities, academic professional development opportunities, or availability of inexpensive or free quality classroom materials.

Posters from outside organizations to be mounted for display on school grounds must first be approved by the school's administration. Posters for school sites do not need to be approved by the KSD District Office.

Note: Must allow 48-72 business hours from the time of upload for the school district to review flyer.

All flyers to be distributed must:

  • Support the basic educational mission of the district, directly benefit the students, or be of intrinsic value to the students or their parents/guardians.
  • Be in PDF format and smaller than 6 MB.
  • Not contain the school district logos or otherwise imply that the activity is district-endorsed or sponsored.
  • Contain the name and contact information of the sponsoring entity.
  • Flyers can have multiple pages, and you will only be charged for one flyer.
  • Include the following disclaimer which Peachjar automatically adds to flyers from outside organizations:

"DISCLAIMER: The activities, products, or services advertised in this flyer are not sponsored or endorsed by KSD or its schools.”

Flyers will NOT be approved that:

  • Are lewd, obscene, libelous, or slanderous.
  • Incite students to commit unlawful acts, violate school rules, or disrupt the orderly operation of the schools.
