College Signing Information
Kearney High School offers an on-campus celebration for those athletes that will be continuing their collegiate careers. If athletes are interested in celebrating on campus please choose your dates from the options listed below. We are limited to 6 athletes per signing. Forms are available blow or in the Activity Office and are due one week prior to the signing date.
May 18th 2022 College Signing Ceremony
Congratulations to Wyatt Doores, Ashton Holloway, Landis Johnson, Daryn Langford, and Zachary Olson. This past Wednesday they celebrated their college signing ceremony and we are looking forward to watching their athletic careers continue at the collegiate level. Please see the additional information below.

Wyatt Doores – Park University Baseball Favorite Sports Memory: “Hitting my first home run”
Coach Remley: “Wyatt played for the baseball program for 4 years and came to practice and games with a great attitude and was always looking to improve every day. He is a great student in the classroom and has worked hard to become the best athlete and person he can be. We wish him the best of luck at Park in baseball and pursuing his degree”

Ashton Holloway – Park University BasketballFavorite Sports Memory: “Winning a District Championship my junior year and celebrating with my coaches and teammates in the locker room.”
Coach Starzl: “Ashton has been a great 4-year player for the Kearney Bulldog Basketball team. He has worked really hard to be given an opportunity to play at the collegiate level. Park University got a good basketball and even a better person.”

Landis Johnson – William Jewell College Track & FieldFavorite Sports Memory: “Freshman cross country year how the upperclassmen boys took me in as one of their own and made my first high school season very memorable and fun.Coach Crall: “Landis is the definition of a “worker!” Landis has been an amazing leader (by example) and has always been one of the hardest-working track athletes on the team. We will miss his leadership and his positive energy. William Jewell is getting a great person and track athlete!”

Online forms are now available for your student / athlete to participate in Kearney School District Activities.
Please read the attached Kearney Activities Handbook. Once you have read and understand the information provided please open up the Kearney activities Commitment form and either sign online or print out, sign and return to the Kearney Activities Department.

Kearney Activities Commitment Form
The MSHSAA Annual Requirements form is a form that must be signed before the student / athlete can participate in activities. Please open up the attached MSHSAA Annual Requirements and sign online. A current physical must be completed and filed with the Kearney activities department. Physicals are good for 2 years from the date of the physician’s signature.
