Kearney School District has been awarded a grant by Midwest Dairy Council for Second Chance Breakfast encouraging students to eat a nutritious breakfast.
A Grab-n-Go breakfast will be available daily at the high school, after 1st hour, starting on Monday, December 8th. The cart will be located right outside the school kitchen in the commons. The Second Chance Breakfast is sponsored by Fuel Up to Play 60 which is a wellness program brought to you by the National dairy council, Midwest Dairy Council and the National Football League which encourages you to eat a nutritious breakfast to start your day!
Second Chance Breakfast Menu:
Monday- Fruit & yogurt parfait and muffin
Tuesday- Breakfast pizza and juice
Wednesday- Smoothie and muffin
Thursday- Smoothie and muffin
Every other Friday- Either sausage biscuit or English muffin with egg & cheese
FRESH FRUIT WILL ALSO BE INCLUDED WITH A MILK
